In Miao legends and rituals, dragons are frequently seen as protectors and blessers. They are believed to bring good fortune and protect the tribe from disasters and evil. In some Miao traditions, the image of the dragon may also be associated with social status and identity. Dragons are often used in clothing and decorations, symbolizing the wearer's noble status or spiritual strength.

The embroidery on the earrings is 100% hand-stitched by Miao women, with the embroidered pieces all produced before 1979, known in China as "Old Embroidery." The colors in the embroidery come from natural dyes without any color-fixing agents, so they should not come into contact with water.

Each pair of earrings is unique, and the embroidered pieces cannot be reproduced. The bases are handcrafted by artisans, which may result in some unevenness. The base material is Fu Miao silver (primarily composed of brass), with the surface covered in several layers of silver.

耳飾的刺繡是由苗族婦女100%純手工製作，繡片都是產生於1979年之前，中國人稱之為“老刺繡”。刺繡的顏色為純天然染料，沒有添加固色劑，因此不可碰水。每一副耳飾的繡片都是獨一無二，且無法再複製生產；底座為匠人純手工打造，可能存在不平整的情況；底座材質為富苗銀（主要成分为白铜），表面覆盖几层银砂。
